Howard R. Udell

Howard R. Udell, Co-Founder and Supervising Attorney

Howard R. Udell has been practicing law for 45 years.  He is a graduate of Hunter College of the City University of New York, and, in 1965 received his L.L.B. degree from New York University School of Law.  He is a member of the Bar of the State of New York as well as Connecticut.  In addition, he is admitted to practice before the Federal Courts and the United States Supreme Court.

Mr. Udell was a member of the New York City law firm, Millard, Greene & Udell, and in 1977 he joined The Purdue Frederick Company (Purdue Pharma L.P.) as General Counsel.  He continued at as Purdue’s Chief Legal Officer until his retirement in 2008.  Since leaving Purdue’s employ, he continues as a sole practitioner with Udell Law Office LLC.

Mr. Udell became a volunteer at the V.A. Connecticut Healthcare System’s Errera Community Care Center (ECCC) in September, 2007.  Since that time he has provided pro bono legal services to hundreds of deserving veterans.
