Welcome, CVLC Summer Interns!
Gena
Gena Mann has a Masters of Science in Environmental Science focusing on Wetland Ecology and Industrial Health and Safety. She is currently finishing her law degree at UConn Law. Gena is a Retired/Veteran of the USCG and Reserve for 21+ years with multiple deployments/activations including responding to DeepWater Horizon. In her spare time Gena is highly active with local church assisting with fundraisers for Homeless Outreach and other community programs. She has participated in the St. Baldrick’s Shave for the Brave event for the last 7 years, raising money to research cures for children’s cancer.
Francine
Francine is a graduate of Vanderbilt University with a B.A. in Neuroscience, currently working towards her Master of Public Health in Social and Behavioral Sciences with a concentration in U.S. Health Justice at the Yale School of Public Health. She is currently working as an intern in the Discharge Upgrades department at CVLC. Her interests are in the intersection of health and law. In the future, she hopes to attend law school and work as an advocate for those who suffered from social justice and human rights violations.
Olivia
My name is Olivia Lawlor and I am a rising Junior at Villanova University. I am currently studying both Political Science and Spanish, and I am the Captain of the Villanova Equestrian Team. I am so excited to be interning with CVLC because I am able to combine my passion for the law with my passion for helping others, especially those that have served our country!
