About the Roundtable
In July 2023, the Department of Labor Chief Evaluation Office (CEO) partnered with Veterans’ Employment and Training Service (VETS) to host the U.S. Department of Labor Commemorating the 75th Anniversary of the Desegregation of the Armed Forces, a three-part roundtable series that focused on Black veteran employment barriers, services, and outcomes.
Throughout the three parts, the Department of Labor heard from individuals with lived experiences and subject matter experts as they discussed the current state of our knowledge of how to best support Black veterans’ employment outcomes and career success.
