CVLC Pro Bono Attorney wins The Honorable Anthony V. DeMayo Pro Bono Award
CVLC proudly nominated Attorney Mark Healey for The Honorable Anthony V. DeMayo Pro Bono Award for his outstanding commitment to serving CT veterans.
When clients are at risk for homelessness, keeping them housed is often key to keeping them in recovery. To keep clients housed, we often need compassionate and zealous attorneys to represent them when they face eviction. Attorney Mark Healey is the type of pro bono attorney we can consistently depend on to represent our disabled veterans facing immediate homelessness in New Haven Housing Session. He has eagerly partnered with CVLC for more than five years – going beyond the call of duty to embrace CVLC’s nationally recognized medical-legal partnership model with the Veterans Administration.
Mark’s dedication to his work and deep compassion offers lasting hope to our disabled veterans during a dark time in their lives. Congratulations, Attorney Healey on a job well done. On behalf of our veterans and the staff at CVLC – we appreciate you and your pro bono support. We couldn’t carry out our mission to serve those who have served our country without deeply committed volunteer attorneys just like you.
