"I’m a big believer in the mission of CVLC – both in who they help and how they help them.”
Rider Perry Boyle from Point72 Pacesetters
Perry Boyle, who recently retired as Senior Director at Point72 Asset Management, has been a strong supporter and advocate for the Ride for Our Vets and CVLC since 2015.
Both an avid cyclist and Veteran supporter, Perry sees the Ride for Our Vets as a great opportunity to help veterans. His support for Veterans can be traced back to strong family ties to the military. Perry is the first male in his family to not have served in the military so he has a deep appreciation for those who do.
“I’m a big believer in the mission of CVLC – both in who they help and how they help them.” Perry says, “CVLC works with our most vulnerable veterans to get them the housing and the healthcare services that they deserve. They do it in an incredibly efficient manner. The staff is lean and martials thousands of hours of pro bono legal work.”
Through his service on the Ride for Our Vets Committee, he has helped to grow membership and support throughout the state. He also rides with the Point72 Pacesetters and plans to complete a 62-mile ride on Saturday, June 13, 2020.

Perry first started cycling 15 years ago. He enjoys being able to support CVLC through an event such as The Ride that promotes staying active and motivated: “You just pedal one more revolution and you go.”
His favorite place to cycle during the summer is Fairfield County, CT, citing it as a cycling mecca – especially north of the Merritt Parkway. With great rolling hills, less car traffic, and beautiful scenery, it is perfect for long summer rides. But Perry’s dream is to ride the route that Hannibal took from Barcelona, Spain to Rome, Italy, riding over the Pyrenees Mountains and overlooking the coast.
Whether you are enjoying the beautiful rolling hills of Fairfield County or simply imagining a perfect summer ride over European mountains, cycling is a great way to stay active and motivated. Every revolution pedaled forward represents resilience, strength, and hope as we support our Veterans and each other during unprecedented times.

Perry also says he wants to give a shout out to the CVLC team for their hard work. CVLC is honored to have Perry as a supporter and advocate.
To military service members, Perry wants to say thank you: “I appreciate that you keep us safe. In a world full of dangers, especially right now, it is comforting to know that we have such a tremendous military.”
