The Ride for Our Vets, a scenic tour through Fairfield County, is one of Connecticut’s annual bike events and the only one that directly impacts the lives of Connecticut Veterans by funding the mission of CVLC to remove legal barriers for Veterans. Registration now open, click here to register.
With three route options, we offer something for every skill and fitness level. Our routes are fully supported with rest stops, ample route marking, bike techs, sweep vans and more. No matter what route you choose, we will take care of you so all you have to do is ride and have fun and then celebrate with us after at the Post-Ride Celebration! While this year’s ride will primarily be an in-person tour, there will still be the option to participate virtually!

The Routes
Specially curated for The Ride for Our Vets, our routes take you on a journey along the scenic Connecticut shoreline and beautiful wooded terrains of Fairfield, New Haven, and Litchfield counties.
The 2024 Ride for Our Vets will feature three route options for our cyclists:
– 10 Mile Ride
– 25 Mile Ride
– 50 Mile Ride
Registration for all routes is $85. Your registration fee covers the cost of your official 2024 Jersey and your food and drink at the Post-Ride Celebration. This year’s Post-Ride Celebration will include food trucks, a beer garden (with Black Hog beers and Athletic non-alcoholic beers), family-friendly activities, and more!
The Ride for Our Vets raises up to $200,000 annually.

Ride Day & Post-Ride Celebration
Join us on Saturday, June 15, 2024 in Veterans Memorial Park and Marina in Norwalk, Connecticut for The Ride for Our Vets. This year’s event will kick-off and end at Veterans Memorial Park in Norwalk, Connecticut.
Registrant check-in starts at 6:30a with routes kicking off at 7:30a, 9:00a, and 10:30a depending on which route you are taking. While you wait for the ride to start, make sure you grab a snack and some coffee from our registration table.
Following the Ride, we invite you to stay for the Post-Ride Celebration featuring food and drinks, family-friendly activities, and live music.
