The 2026 Routes are here!
We are thrilled to share the routes for the 15th-Annual Ride for Our Vets event. Whether you decide to ride our 10 mile route or our 50+ mile route, you are guaranteed to enjoy the beautiful scenery of Connecticut’s back roads, public parks, and shoreline. Thank you for riding with us! STRAVA links coming soon.
The 2026 Ride for Our Vets will feature three routes that will travel around Fairfield County, with the longer route extending into the Bedford, New York area. All of our routes are reviewed carefully by a combination of CVLC staff and professional volunteers to ensure safety and enjoyment for our Riders.
PLEASE NOTE that all routes are subject to change, up until 48 hours before the Ride for Our Vets, to ensure Rider safety. You will be sent an email prior to the Ride from our Ride Producer with final details AND this page will be updated any time there is a change.

Rest Stops and Ride Marhalls
To ensure safety, health and well-being of our Riders, we have designated rest stops along our longer routes that will offer bathrooms, snack items, and water refill. We will also have a first aid kit and easy bike support like a tire pump. Each location will be marked with a sign and 7-foot Ride for Our Vets flag.
Our rest stops will be managed by volunteers with staff support. If you’re interested in volunteering at a Ride for Our Vets rest stop, please click here.
Rest stop locations will be announced by June 1, 2026.
In addition to our Rest Stops, the Ride will also include volunteer Ride Marshalls who will help Riders navigate our various routes and provide basic bike support as needed. There will be at least one Ride Marshall on each routes and you will be able to easily recognize them by their yellow “Marshall” vests. Each Ride Marshall will be equipped with a basic repair kit, tire tubes, and some other repair items, as well as the ability to contact our Ride staff if a Rider’s bike breaks down and needs a pick-up.
If you are an experienced rider and would like to volunteer as a Ride Marshall please contact Patrick J Dunn, Ride Produceer, at pdunn@ctveteranslegal.org.
