Team Up for collective impact
The Ride for Our Vets is more than a ride, it’s an opportunity to come together with your family, friends, colleagues, and the greater community to be part of something big and stand up for our Connecticut Veterans.
In addition to the ride itself, you will be invited to a post-ride celebration featuring live music, speakers, delicious food, games/crafts, and family-friendly activities. The Ride for Our Vets is your opportunity to have fun while raising critical funds to help our Veterans!
By forming a team, you can share your experience with family and friends alike, while also creating some friendly competition along the way. For companies and businesses, corporate teams can be a great way to do team-building and foster unity, all while showing your commitment to the Veteran community.

Build Out Your Team
Teams can be made up of folks from all kinds of connections – family, friends, coworkers, professional colleagues, religious connections, or schoolmates. The sky is the limit and all are welcome! Invite people from across your network to join your team – you never know who will want to ride until you ask!
Make the most of your collective fundraising skills – once you have established your team, encourage all of your teammates to register and start fundraising! Invite people from all over your network to contribute – post to social media (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc), send out emails and texts, and share with folks at all of your usual hangouts.
